The Booker Style- Conference Table
The Booker style Conference table pictured was constructed with East Knoxville harvested Poplar wood. The top is three jointed Poplar wood planks with visible Steel C-Channels ends reminiscent of the industrial style of the 1930’s and 40’s and also serves the purpose of limiting twisting and warping. The frame is solidly built with custom milled 4X4’s, repurposed bolts, and steel dowels which secures the frame into a firm solid unit. The wood planks have air dried for 2+ years, sanded to perfection and protected by multiple coats of Satin General Finish. The piece measures at 96 in. X 45 in. X 1.375 in. thick.
