Penultimate Woodworks is a social enterprise business created to give participants hands-on experience in woodworking, wood restoration, and entrepreneurship — opening doors to careers in construction and beyond. Through this initiative, participants earn meaningful income while learning to design, build, market, and sell their own products. Last year alone, we generated nearly $21,000 in sales, and eight young men gained real-world experience running a woodworking business.

By taking an active role in every part of the operation — from product development to sales and marketing — participants build confidence, develop practical skills, and learn what it takes to grow and sustain a business. Our ultimate goal is for Penultimate Woodworks to become fully self-sustaining, empowering participants to become master craftsmen, leaders, and future business owners.
