Mayline 4 Post Drafting Table
This item is a fully restored Mayline 4 Post Drafting Table. All hardware, hinges, bolts, dowels and cleats are original and have been fully restored to its former glory! This particular table is the Mayline #7704 Size 37-1/2” X 48”, Combination B. This table was neglected and out of place for many years. This is evidence by the condition of the back-right leg. We were able to save the leg but added a 3/8 piece of red oak to replace the dry rotted wood due to the many years of neglect.
The table is solidly built of well-seasoned hardwood, heavy duty bolts, and steel dowels secure frame into a firm solid unit. Maylines solid Basswood top with steel end cleats can be adjusted from horizontal to 50 degrees angle on sturdy tilting devices. Special Drop-in hinges secure the base to the top and the wide, flat, comfortable footrest completes this treasure. Tables are finished in rich golden oak to blend and the Basswood top is a natural finish. The entire piece is protected with thin coats of polyurethane.
